This eight-lead cable is commonly referred to as an "octopus" or "octal" cable. Diablo Hardware maintains inventory of the octal cable in many lengths. Each lead or "tentacle" of the "octopus" cable ends in a female DB-25 RS-232 connector. The other end, or base, of the cable has the 160-pin connector.
